With its chlorine-free and zinc-free Oronite OLOA 2000 additive system, Shell Caprinus XS9 20W-40 multigrade railroad engine oil improves engine efficiency and cleanliness. It’s formulated for medium speed 2-cycle and 4-cycle railroad diesel engines that include General Electric and EMD. This high-performance oil also extends oil drain intervals with its good TBN retention (Total Base Number). Shell Caprinus railroad engine oil is also available in SAE 40 viscosity grade.
